I am a huge Science fiction fan, and enjoy watching many science fiction TV series, movies, reading books, etc..

Star Trek
I’ve considered myself a Trekkie for over 15 years. and I really love all the Series, TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT, and I am unable to consistently select one favorite show. I have all the shows and movies on dvd (except Star trek 11, which I considered buying and burning in a geeky ritual), and like to watch the series somewhat regularly. Think there are quite a few TNG episodes I’ve seen around 15 times.

Babylon 5
Just saw this for the second time.. This is a brilliant show, and it’s very clear that the first 4 seasons are carefully thought out in terms of plots and story progress. The awesome story is a true testament to Straczynski who wrote virtually every episode, one of them even has Penn & Teller

Stargate SG-1
This show is awesome.. Almost as good as Star Trek, was very sad to see season 10 end, would easily have watched another ten seasons.. The Films where great also except the original Stargate movie with Kurt Russel which is nothing spectacular.

Stargate Atlantis
I started watching this before SG-1, and that is how I fell in love with Stargate. This is a brilliant show, I really like the cast of this series, and the great humor, this show picks up on and improves lots of that well known SG-1 humor. I’m disappointed it only got 5 seasons.

Stargate Universe
This is without a doubt the worst “sci-fi” show I’ve ever seen.

BattleStar Galactica (new version)
This is one of the most unique and brilliant sci-fi shows I’ve ever seen, only seen it once, and got the bluray edition on the shelf, and I’ll watch it agian soon. I actually think BSG is better than Star Trek at some times.

Farscape
I kinda like Farscape, only seen the first two seasons, and currently watching it.. There are some good episodes, and there are some really bad ones.

Quantum Leap
The DVD box is sitting on the shelf begging me to watch it, hopefully I’ll get the time soon.

Firefly
Despite only being 14 episodes and a movie, I LOVE this show, it’s one of my all time favorite Sci-fi shows, but then again I love EVERYTHING Joss Whedon has ever made (Buffy, Angel, Dollhouse, Firefly)

Threshold
Like Firefly it was way to short (only 13 episodes) and I must say it’s a real shame this show was canceled, it had loads of potential. Even tough the series ends rather abruptly you should absolutely watch it, really good show with great characters and story.

V (2009)
I really liked the first season, and the show had a real potential, but from the middle of season 2 I just lost interest, felt like the show was going nowhere, did not really connect with any of the characters and the whole “aliens looking for the soul” theme got a bit too silly for my taste.

The Twillight Zone
I love the original twillight zone (1959), I’ve also seen some of the 1985 series but they are not quite as good.. Have seen a few of the “new twillight zone” series from 2002, but not enough to form any real opinion

Star Wars
Movie number 4 and 5 are pretty OK, I guess. George Lucas sucks, but I do enjoy the Star Wars universe (especially Knights of the Old Republic, and Star Wars The Old Republic).
